Price of grass brooms has increased drastically in the last few years

Till the last few years, most of the grass brooms used for sweeping the floor in homes were fairly affordable costing rs 25-30
However in 2017-2018, the price of these grass brooms has increased rapidly
Now there is almost no retailer in panaji, goa who is selling these grass brooms for less than Rs 60
At a discount store, which offers low prices for most items, none of the grass brooms available are costing less than Rs 100 as MRP
The lowest discounted price of the grass brooms is Rs 75 at the store.
The local retailer has grassbrooms for Rs 65, and this is the MRP of the grass broom he is selling
Compared to other brooms, the grass brooms have a limited life, and are easily damaged when they become wet
